Flashback. 9 years of my life in Hong Kong, I remember there's this green and white ferry we had to take just to hit the city. At the ferry terminal, there's this animal figure(was it a hippo or a giraffe) made of Lego blocks superglued together.

Fans of the Wu may agree that Ghostface is the best lyricist in group. Some say its Rae based on the purple tape (Only Built F4 Cuban Linx).

I remember when I was younger I was bumping to Ghost's Supreme Clientele but it was too heavy for me back then. A few years later I gave an ear for Fishscales. Mad love for it that I had to dig through my library for that Supreme Clientele I shelved.

I didn't know he had a collaboration with Adidas though. With references to one of his many aliases, Ironman (or Tony Starks if you like)

Will's Invasion was formed back in 2003. With a total strength of only 2 people, the crew had already been recognized as Best Upcoming Crew in 2004 (SINGAPORE STREET FESTIVAL) in their 2nd competition they took part in and since 2007, became the Rap Ambassadors for the Singapore Street Festival.

Risen over the years winning competitions and recognized through performances in local & government body events National Day Parade 2006/2007(Fringe Celebration), 117th International Olympic Conference, Jom Heboh (Malaysia), Gangstarz Tv3 (Malaysia), Ministry Of Sound- Hiphop Sho Down MC Battle, 987fm Rap Battle Competition (1st Prize), Nike 100k Marathon, and was featured in Mediacorp Suria TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) show.

While talking to B-Roc, whatever I thought was hardwork was actually peanuts producing trivial results. I was clueless about what B-roc and his independent label had to go through to make it this BIG! Sharing his experiences with music firsthand in both artistic and business perspective, I can only say "Dang" and that word varies on the number of "G" and "!"( or "Brink" in Metal Gear Solid terms) behind.

Before you read this post. Let me tell you Im a Tupac fan.

This is a picture of Tupac that leaked out after the Autopsy.

Even with this evidence. Fans still say Pac is alive. They say the body above is some other dude tatooed with imitations and that there's a reason for tilting his face away from the camera. Suspicious huh?

Its amazing how these hardcore fans make up excuses and theories for Pac after his death. They force pieces to fit in the puzzle. Like "Why is there always the number "13" associated with Pac's death."

If I was one of them my theory would be:
Tupac died on Friday The 13th! Thats the title of the movie starring Jason Vorhees who rose from the dead to kill people at Camp Crystal Lake. That means Tupac is gonna come back to life to kill Suge Knight! I mean...Simon! Deathrow Records is doomed! Where's Janet Jackson when we need her?!?!

Piranhas Eating Habits

I have a fascination with Piranhas. I keep recalling the time I visited my cousin who owns a couple of piranhas but never get to see them feed.

This time I did. Thanks YouTube.

The piranha is a sharp-toothed fish that lives in lakes and rivers throughout most of South America.
There are at least 25 different species of piranhas.
They have deep bodies that are flattened on both sides.
Most piranhas are olive green to blue-black with red or orange bellies.

It has been said that a school of piranhas can strip a poultry(chicken, geese, ducks for example) to the bones within a few minutes.

6/6/09 could've just been another date celebrated in our hearts yet these people took the time to make it more VISUAL! They set up a platform for us to showcase and have invited a huge lineup of performers who have contributed since the year 1999 when SG Hiphop was born.

In terms of my life as a rapper, its pretty much Lion City all the way. Thats where I learned how to write my own lyrics and perform. In fact, thats where my first audiences were. Im representing SG Hiphop all the way.

Rhythm & Poetry, which has now turn into a 3 part series, will kick off next weekend with an anniversary show.

On next Saturday, 6th June 2009, many hip-hop heads who are either still active or have contributed much to the scene will be celebrating 10 years of independent hip-hop in Singapore at our ‘home’ venue, The Arts House.

The event will be from 12 noon - 9 pm, and it will feature artiste from the year 1999 - 2009. This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss. Admission is only $5 (pre-sale) or $10 (at door). Most blockbuster movies are released in conjunction with a fast food chain or crappy merchandising deal, but 'X-Men Origins : Wolverine' goes one better with the release of a Nike duo-pack to coincide with the launch of the film. The lead character, Wolverine takes the cake with the Big Nike silhouette while his arch-enemy Sabretooth gets the more subdued AM95. The Big Nike takes direct inspiration from Wolverine's uniform colours - red, blue and yellow, with massive claw marks that rip into the upper (ala Methamphibian) and the tongue logo.

The Sabretooth AM95 also takes direct inspiration from the colourings of the mighty comic book character, giving the lace unit an extra dose of fur to represent Sabretooth's maine. Available now at Proper.

Pacquiao vs. Hatton... Who won?

One of the most highly anticipated matchup between boxing champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and British slugger Ricky Hatton.

Alotta high-profile celebrities were there in Las Vegas, Nevada to watch the fight. Naming a few would be Jay-Z, Diddy, Mariah, Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington (Frank Lucas eh? No chinchilla in this match though)

Manny proved him wrong, and defeat De la Hoya.

For the second time, Erik Morales predicted Manny will loose to Hatton.. He said Hatton is fast and strong that can beat Manny.

It'll be an extremely good fight. But I think Hatton's power in the end will prevail. Pacquio when he fought DeLaHoya was fighting a person way past his prime. Hatton is at the top of his game. Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer predicted that Hatton will be knocked out with just 3 rounds. He claims to have studied Hatton for the past 2 months and crafted a strategy around Hatton being 'a sucker for the right hook' leaving his right exposed whenever he cocks for a lefty.

True enough. I watched the bout about 4 times. It was really crazy!

The first round had Hatton kneeling on the canvas twice!

The first where Hatton was about to cock for a left hook and in a milli second Pacman swung his right and still manage to elude Hatton's attempt before he fell. Just like what Freddie said eh?

Manny's lefty brought Hatton leaning on the ropes and down to the canvas for the second time before he was saved by the bell.

The second round can see the British boxer getting back at him. He had a few warning for punching Manny behind the head though. Still, it was not enough. As Pacquiao was picking up against his opponent, the last 8 seconds of that round decided it.......

The finisher came before Hatton could see it and had him knocked out cold before he his back laid on the canvas motionless, eyes looking at blank space. Hatton's team and medic trying to check if he was still ok hoping he doesn't bleed wrongly or swallow his own tongue.

His family in tears while Manny was being lifted by his team with his fists raised in the air.

As Pacquiao would have put it:

"I'm surprised that this was so easy, but I worked hard in training camp since the beginning of March," Pacquiao said. "He was wide open for the right, but he came looking for my left. It was nothing personal I was doing my job. This was as big for me as the De La Hoya victory."

Post-Knee Reconstructive Surgery

Its been a month now since my knee surgery but first on 19th March 2009...

I wanna thank everyone who wished me well and even visited me at house. I really MEAN IT! Really really big big thank you to ya'll! whether its visitation at hospital or home, msn, email, facebook, myspace, snail mail or even through sms! I really appreciate every single one of them.

May God bless you for sacrificing a few seconds/minutes/hours of your time just to wish a brother well. God bless yall!

Thats me at the hospital for my first physiotherapy

There was a swell from my operated knee all the way to my feet and the excruciating pain was unbearable on the second day. The anaesthetic has worn off by then. Im glad to be home though. My first night at the hospital was not only disturbed by the pain but by 'F1 engines' and nurse hollerings.

"That knee is one heck of a Sherman Klump(Nutty Professor)!"

After 2 weeks, i had my first physiotherapy from hell. Im just joking! I had to do exercises which i thought and i know i couldn't do. There's one where i had to stand on my operated leg alone and got injured. Subsequently, it still hurts but bearable if you have a goal of recovering fast to play sports.

Physiotherapy from hell: "Argh! but my operation is on my knee not on my back! Is biting my neck part of the stretching exercise?!?!"

I also had the stitches removed. But...

"Removing the bandage carefully after 2 weeks"

"Stitches on 3 different locations. For muscle extraction. For knee reconstruction. For the mini-camera"

"The longest amongst them"

"Pulling with a tweezer. Cutting with a scissor"

"The nurse was careful. It stings with the pulling but not painful. Trained for 2 weeks to manage pain??? "

Removed! But... a few days later, i removed the new bandage to see if it has healed but guess what i found!

I found a white thread! It doesn't seem like its something unnoticed during my stitches removal. Coz the stitches are all blue and stiff! Not white and fluffy! It sort of like healed over it after a few days... Hope doc wont open it up again to check. Should have taken a photo of it...

Has anyone remembered Penny Hardaway? He was one of the most exciting and versatile NBA players in the mid 90's. Greatest Player Of All Time, Michael Jordan, even mentioned that he is a player with unlimited potential. Other than Grant Hill, he was often compared to Michael Jordan when its comes to which of the youngins' will Mike pass the torch to.

Highlights Of Penny's Whole Career Till Present

If i can pick a time line where his A-game was consistent, not a stranger to the weekly top 10 plays, and his fame at its peak, it would be when we was rocking that ORLANDO MAGIC jersey.

(Pardon me if i use blue fonts in all highlights. The colour just seem right describing all things Penny)

An unselfish player and mature beyond his years. He played for both the names in front and back of his jersey.

His career also spawned collaboration shoes with Nike. Guess what were those series of kicks called? Yeap. Not that hard eh? Air Penny.

Im just having that b-ball fever reading my Slam Dunk mangas again by Inoue Takehiko.
(Rated as the most influential and No.1 Japanese manga of all time)
Thanks to being on crutches and having phobia leaving your house.

I came across this youtube video of an 11 year old american kid who is hyped by ballers to be the next Michael Jordan.

He practices 4 hours a day.
Dribbles the ball like a yoyo string tied to his hands.
Shoots 3 pointers like its a freethrow.
Runs a mile in 4 mins and 50secs.
Does 200 pushups, 200 situps and 150 legsquats every night.
Plays against 6th graders(primary 6 students) like he's not a 5th grader(primary 5 students).

Meet JaShaun Agosto, whose father swears he never pushes him to torture himself.

Remember this name. You might see him in the NBA 6 or 7 years from now. Drafter 18 years old like Kobe Bryant in the LA LAKERS.

It goes without saying that Eminem is the most distinctive amongst the D12 members.

However... has anyone actually noticed ...Bizarre??? Being the fattest and not the phat-est of the 6, he really stands out.

Bizarre is the half naked 9th-months-pregnant guy since 'The Govern-ator' in "JUNIOR"

On the music side, his lyrics is not really that graphic nor details but its somewhat disgusting. I remember a line he spat in the Devil's Night album (D12 debut).

Some of you may know her. Some of you SHOULD know her.

I didn't really cop any of her albums but did hear a coupla songs from her. Best if you could see her music videos and experience the complexity of the visuals! In laymen terms, Arty Farty.

I know how short your attention span is so I'll just post 2 videos of her which I consider to be intriguing in its oops... HER ....own right.

This video below is titled "All Is Full Of Love". It seems to be adapted from the movie iRobot starring Will Smith. The interesting part of the video is the cyborg lesbian kissing scene. Just like real lesbians. Detailed down to the 'touching'. Sick? or Sick like how youths express 'awesome'?

This other video is a live performance of Declare Independence by Björk. The reason I chose this video is because of the unusual music instrument used by one of the band. You can check it out at the video's 1:00-1:05mins segment. YES! That thing is producing sound and CAN manipulate sounds/music!

That instrument I told you about in the video looks more like a bigger/complex/made-for-showmanship version of the KORG Kaoss Pad (picture below). Its a touch pad midi keyboard and effects processor for audio and musical instruments. You can have your input audio processed with echo, reverb, distortion and many more effects. In fact, serious beatboxers are stepping their game up with this gizmo!

I was planning on what to do today and i kept hearing Enero chanting "Im 'IT' like the clown..." like some sort of mantra. It actually a line from one of Kid Cudi's song, 'Cudi Get'. It became catchy later on I keep flipping that line to him for laughs.

"Do you know what Kid Cudi meant with that line you singing?" I asked.

"Huh? No..."

"He's actually referring to this clown in the movie "IT" by Stephen King! Don't you remember? We used to watch it as kids and I was frightened like to death! and yeah...clown-o-phobia" I explained to Enero.

I had a thought of searching the whole movie on the net and... God bless that Youtube uploader!

The whole movie's divided into 18 segments for Youtube. I recalled the scene which scared me as a child. It was the part where a little kid in a raincoat...(peep the video segment below)

If its too much for you, just check out 'IT' or better known as Pennywise The Clown featured in a commercial for McDonald's. Hilarious!!!

This movie's way of telling a story is really interesting. There would be flashback scenes for each character of the Losers Club fitting a piece to the puzzle as to why and how Pennywise the clown scare them individually.

The ending is not exactly what you would expect to be erm...satisfying but hey, its a film from the 90's! It dope at its time.

Just a little help for you to understand the ending: "It's" other form is based on the person's imagination of IT. IT uses all your painful/hated/horrifying memories against you.
